LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT

In the process of hiring rigs and vessels for contract work, it's critical that the operator has an accurate and reliable assessment of any perceived risks, so that those risks may be properly managed and mitigated. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is part of that process; International Safety and Risk Management's (ISRM) Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) complements the process of FMEA, by addressing the human and management factors which fall outside of the technical FMEA process.

ORA supports an operational overview of the fitness-for-purpose of a rig or vessel, for the conduct of work for a client-operator. By ranking any findings of risk against a user matrix, we can then assess any requirement for action.

ORA utilizes in-house operational and technical experience to support the use of audit tools for:

Marine Operational Management Audit
Marine and Vessel Audit, Inspection, Testing
Marine and Technical Incident Investigation

Marine Management Audits

The Marine Management Audit process encompasses the full remit of the Marine Operational Facility, and uses the ISM code as its baseline status. The audit determines the effectiveness of the Marine Management System to provide controlling measures, both for the reduction of operational risk and the improvement of vessel efficiency.

The audit template provides an indication of the management system's validity within the day to day running of the unit, and will identify areas for management review to enhance the safe and effective operation of the vessel.
